Insurance Service Officer (ISO) Information

As of October 2025, Hygiene Fire Protection District's ISO rating improved from a 5 to a 4. This could mean potential savings on homeowner insurance premiums. C

The Hygiene Fire Protection District ISO rating is a class 4 rating effective January 1st, 2026 for all buildings within 5 road miles of the Hygiene Fire Station. This includes buildings within 1000 feet of a hydrant as well as buildings that are further than 1000 feet from a hydrant. Areas that are further than 5 miles from Hygiene Station, but are within 5 miles of one of our neighboring fire district fire stations that are Auto Aid response are also classified as a class 4 rating.
