HYGIENE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
The Hygiene Volunteer Fire Department serves the Hygiene community
protecting 4,500 citizens over a 55 square mile area in rural Boulder County.
Help Build the Future of Emergency Response in Hygiene
The Hygiene Fire Protection District does more than fight fires. We’re often the first to respond—whether to wildfires, medical calls, car accidents, or even rescuing a dog from an icy lake. Our trained team is here day and night, protecting lives and property.

But our station no longer meets the needs of our growing community. Without proper facilities, firefighters can’t legally stay overnight, which slows response times and strains our capacity.

We’re rebuilding the older section of our station to better serve the people of Hygiene.
