Students started tonight at the Hygiene Firehouse with a knowledge test over previously covered material. They will attend classroom the rest of the week, with a skills portion and final cuts on Saturday and Sunday. Agencies in attendance are Hygiene Fire, Fourmile Fire, Boulder Mountain Fire Authority, Lefthand Fire and Nederland Fire. This Wildland Chainsaws Class (S212) is taught by two HVFD members with many years of wildland fire experience.
