Pancake Supper and Louisville Residents

A heartfelt thank you to everyone that came out and supported us at our 54th Annual Pancake Supper this past Saturday evening. We are grateful for the continued support we receive from our community and partner agencies.

One of the highlights that evening was a visit by residents from Louisville wanting to express their gratitude for our response to their community during the recent Marshall Fire. Our Members that responded to that area of the fire got to meet and speak with the home owners. The residents and firefighters were able to share stories and pictures and soon it was realized that one of those residents lived in the one of the houses where they were able to stop the fire. It is believed that the saving of that house was a critical point of stopping the fire’s progression to other homes in that neighborhood as well.

We are grateful for the opportunity we had to reconnect with these residents.

We are appreciative of the kind donation they made to Hygiene Fire. We are proud to have been able to work alongside our partner agencies during the Marshall Fire and on future incidents.
