Board members provide guidance to the district and works with the firefighters and community stakeholders to provide fire and emergency services to the Hygiene Fire Protection District. This volunteer position requires a time commitment for monthly board meetings and a few extra hours to help carry out the board responsibilities. Update March 13, 2022. Not enough nominations were received by the nomination deadline to fill all the board vacancies. The election is therefore not necessary and is canceled. We are still seeking district residents who are willing to serve their community as a board member.
